Windowright is a family run, independent manufacturer of double glazed units. We are the largest glass unit manufacturer in the Telford and Shropshire area. However, our customer base reaches as far as 100 mile radius from our factory based in Hortonwood 33. Telford. We also supply and fit UPVC Windows, Doors and Composite Doors to the public and Trade. We can also install Conservatories, Warm Roofs and Fascia, soffit and guttering.

Phill Jones
In 2020, when our previous owners decided to take their well earned retirement, Phill took over the reigns.
He helped make our first units when he was 16, in a small warehouse at the back of Lloyds Bank in Shifnal and joked that he would take over the company one day. Now he has more than 40 years of experience in the industry and the laughter lines to show for it.
Since taking over, we have seen continued growth in both the sales of double glazed units and our UPVC products. With most of our team still here and continuing to support our customers going forward.
Stephen Cassidy (Cass)
Steve joined the team in January 2024 to help us to continue our focus on customers and the high level of service that we provide. He is also tasked with looking at ways in which we can continue to grow the business. Taking on the role of Sales and Operations Manager he is looking forward taking Windowright onward and upwards.
After 26 Years in the Royal Air Force and now over 18 years working in the domestic glazing industry in various sales and operation roles he is Happy that this will be his last posting. He has already brought great success and helped the company gain the Bronze Employers Achievement Award with the #armedforcescovenant
Jackie Thompson
Jackie joined the original family business some 25 years ago. Most of you may already know her, as she is the first port of call for any questions that you have.
She is here help you from your initial order enquiries, to the completion of the job.
Patrick Maddox
Patrick has worked for the company for over 35 years. He is the go to person for the manufacturing facility and as the factory foreman Phill's right hand man in all things glass. Anything that Patrick doesn't know about the glass industry isn't worth knowing about!
He has a wide range of knowledge regarding both commercial and domestic installations and is happy to answer any questions that you may have. As well as plenty of hands on experience, he has also completed an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Glass Processing and has a GQA Level 3 Certificate in Glass Related Operations and a GQA Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Glass Processing.
Ian Thompson
Ian is Jackie's husband and he joined the company in 2013 after deciding to have a change of career.
He works closely with Patrick in looking after the day to day production and has gained lots of knowledge since joining us.
Ian has also completed an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Glass Processing and has gained a GQA Level 3 Certificate in Glass Related Opertations and a GQA Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Glass Processing.
Sam Dorey
Sam is the newest member of the team and has taken over the accounts.
She works closely with Steve and Jackie in the office assisting with the glass and the dreaded collecting of balances.
With 34 years of account experience in international companies she has brought a keen eye to the office procedures and already helped make our processes simpler and more cost effective.
Chris Hill
Chris is our top delivery driver and is also very handy around the factory.
His main duties are getting all our sealed units and glass out to our valued customers in one piece (not any easy task in these times of pot holes and packed highways.)
Being ex-forces and continuing in the reserves he has been a valuable addition to the team.
